FAQ

Common questions, straight answers.

Everything businesses ask us before switching to SIP — answered without the jargon.

Can I keep my current phone numbers?
Yes. We port your existing numbers over, and your old service stays live until the port completes — there's no gap where customers can't reach you.
What happens if my internet goes down?
Calls automatically fail over to cell phones or any backup numbers you choose. Callers never hear a dead line.
How much internet bandwidth do I need?
Very little — each active call uses roughly 100 Kbps. Even a modest business connection can carry a 10-line plan with room to spare. We'll check your connection quality before anything ships.
Do I need new wiring?
Usually not. IP phones run on your existing network cabling, and most models can share a jack with a computer. We'll tell you exactly what's needed before anything ships.
What does "concurrent calls" mean?
It's the number of conversations happening at the same time. A 10-line plan means 10 people can be on live calls at once — but you can have 20, 30, or 40 phones on desks. You only pay for simultaneous talk paths, not hardware.
Who sets everything up?
We do. Every PBX and phone is configured and tested in our shop before shipping. When the boxes arrive, you plug the phones in and they register on their own. If anything needs adjusting, you call us — not a ticket queue.
Can people work from home on the same system?
Yes. Remote and virtual extensions let a phone at someone's house — or a softphone on their laptop — behave exactly like a desk in your office: same extension dialing, same voicemail, same caller ID.
Is there a contract?
Plans are billed monthly. The free-hardware offer has a 3-phone minimum per order — call us and we'll spell out exactly what your setup costs, flat.
Can you handle multiple offices or companies?
Yes — one PBX can run several locations and even several companies, each with its own numbers, greetings, and call flows, while everyone still dials each other by extension.

Ready to own your phone system?

Talk to a real installer — not a sales queue. We'll spec your system, quote it flat, and have it configured before it ships.
